The character flaw in this young men has been evident for sometime, but was covered up due to his bankability, by both his sport team and the individuals in his life who catered to his every whim, right or wrong, and were nothing more then enablers who saw not a person but a walking and talking ATM.

If you want to have a reputation that makes this sportscasters who live vicariously through your exploits,young athlete, then do something that is controversial to the point that it begins helping your own. When you continue the bling-bling and hoochie-hopping, you will never be respected and reinforce the stereotypes that make them secure about something in their lives. When you care enough about yourself to understand that these people give less than a rat’s ass about you, just look at all the concern over an animal, no less, when young Black men are treated worse than this on a daily basis.

Man-up.

I say his answer was smartest because without saying “yes, I believe in reparations” (and kissing his campaign goodbye) his response contained the words “the reparations we need … “.

Ironically, Edwards and Clinton said no. So I’m hoping now, that those who are disingenuously supporting Edwards and Clinton simply because Obama isn’t “Black enough”, will re-think their positions. Assuming they can think that far.
