If Scooter Libby got 30 months, and ultimately may spend no time at all in prison, is there any reason in the name of “equal protection” why Congressman Jefferson ought to be treated any more harshly.

If in favor of equal treatment before the law for white public officials and Black ones.

Oh, he’ll get pardoned – I’m sure of that. The only thing to wonder is WHEN?

I’m glad he got convicted but I feel like we got a small fish. Also, i’d bet one of my more intimate body parts that he gets pardoned.

Jill, I was thinking that Scooter's cell mates would be some guys named Biscuit, Skillet, LeRoy and HammerTime, LOL.

At least Scooter will make friends if he cooks up the Pruno right, and gets a tattoo and some cornrows so he will fit right in.

He might want to offer himself up as a prison-wife for the duration of his stay. It will ensure he gets out in one piece.

Unless Walton sends him to Club Fed. Even Paris Hilton is doing real time in LA County Lockup...
