I must admit i like Senator Obama alot more than i like presidential candidate Obama. But in the least voter-inclusive election process of any industrialized nation, i find it really hard to get excited about any of this..

I like Senator Obama but his proposals strike me more as he and his campaign’s efforts to change the principal topics of political conversation than any genuine effort to change how the people’s business is done. The Senator and his administration, if he is elected president, will not act on of the proposed reforms listed in his press release because he wouldn’t be able to govern if he did. No president could.

Interesting that you chose to post anonymously. I wouldn’t want my identity attached to such non-sense either. Nothing, politically, annoys me more than one issue voters. Sure, Ron Paul is against the War, but Ron Paul is also pro-life. Ron Paul is also a STRONG advocate of judicial constraint, which means he views decisions like Brown vs. Board of Education as unconstitutional. Moreover, Ron Paul voted against Rosa Parks receiving the Congressional Medal of Freedom, which even left the likes of Trent Lott apalled.
