I live in the Bronx and the air quality is abysmal,(I am being kind)asthma and other upper respiratory problems are big problems here too.<br/><br/>The Bronx has active waste transfer systems and according to a study from NYU http://www.nyu.edu/its/pubs/connect/spring07/naphtali_gis.html these waste transfer stations and the routes are located in areas with majority black and latino populations in New York City.<br/><br/>As a Bronx girl, I love what Marjora Carter is doing but we have to do much, much more!!!!
