Why? Because they successfully played “gotcha” with Gonzalez, but not one Democratic senator could bring him/herself to mention the stinky subject of many of those meetings the Attorney General can’t remember attending, and of those memos and emails he can’t recall reading or writing — large scale supporession of the black and Latino vote!

It’s like a large and very dead dog in the room. Gonzalez couldn’t recall how it got there or why he can’t see it. Democrats ought to be made to explain why they are so reluctant to mention it, to discuss the issue of 21st century election rigging. Could it be that they are preparing to concede this one only hours after the polls just like in 2004, no matter what hijinks ensue on election day?
