Funny how the entire United States seems to have forgotten about the Katrina hurricane victims. Out of sight, out of mind? Just a bunch of lazy, shiftless, brown people looking for government handouts?

Hmph.

Funny how Maxine Waters’ Katrina Housing bill hasn’t received much press. That’s alright, you go on girl. Someone has to look out for those, except by the grace of god, could be any one of us. The treatment of the Bush administration of hurricane victims after abandoning them for 5 days in their hour of need has been shocking and yet more shocking is the press and even bloggers’ failure to expose the scandal and hold them to accountability.
