Having to actually work and tell the public and dues-paying members what they're doing with the money scares some people who want the title of "Board Member" but don't want to do the work that goes with the job title.<br/><br/>(3) Time to retire some of the board members to "emeritus" status, while someone else can come in and get the job done.<br/><br/>(4) Is it more than coincidence that both Gordon and Mfume stepped down because they clashed with Julian Bond? They have no succession plan, and Gordon understands why this is wrong. Why we have to move to the next direction and mentor a new generation of leadership. <br/><br/>I am so disappointed.
