I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW TO GROWN MEN COULD BEAT A 14 YEAR OLD BOY, BECAUSE HE WHISTLED AT HIS WIFE. I FEEL SO BAD FOR EMMITT AND HIS MOTHER.EVEN THOUGH EMMITT WAS 14 YEARS OLD HE WAS BRAVE. THE MEN THAT BEAT HIM ARE MONSTERS TO DO THAT TO ANOTHER HUMAN BEING. I HOPE THOSE MEN WILL BURN IN THE HOTEST PART OF HELL. IT IS SAD A YOUG BOY HAD TO DIE,SO OTHER PEOPLE WOULD NOT DIE LIKE HE DID.EMMITT IS A HERO AND I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT A BLACK WOMAN WHO WAS PAID TO PUT A MEMORIAL UP FOR EMMITT TILL. SHE POCKET THE MONEY. AND THEN SHE LEAVES EMMITT'S CASKET IN A DIRTY SHACK TO ROT. WHY CAN'T THESE EVIL PEOPLE LEAVE EMMITT TILL ALONE SO HE CAN REST IN PEACE. I HOPE THE COURT PUNISH THOSE HORRIBLE PEOPLE FOR A LONG TIME.I THINK THE STATE OF ILLINOIS SHOULD WATCH OVER EMMITT TILL GRAVE SO HE CAN REST.HE WAS CURCIFIED FOR CIVIL RIGHT. HE WAS A HERO LIKE ROSA PARKS AND REV. KING.I WILL PRAY THAT NO ONE WILL EVER DISTURB HIS PEACE AGAIN.

Atarax (hydroxyzine) for Anxiety: I take this along with Lexapro... I was having such hard times falling asleep due to nine million things going on through the day ... then the anxiety kicked in...sometimes I would be up for hours while everyone is sound to sleep...When I started taking this I fall asleep within thirty mins and usually sleep sound. It is not addicting... and good price for the good things the meds do

Also Anonymous I wish I knew your name, because first off you spelled Emmett's name wrong. And what he did was simple, for him to be lynched for it! How could you say that?? Who cares who dared who and who told what? All that was did to him was NOT necessary at all. I know the case. All those simple things he did, where not nearly enough for him to be brutally beaten.

I have been reading up on this case and I feel that Emmett was treated like his life was worse than road kill. How could ANYONE treat a young boy that way? I understand that blacks back then were not seen as people, but it still does not make it right one bit. It's said that justice was never served. That all those involved went on to live long fruitful lives. While Emmett Till rotted away beneath their feet. I praise Emmett as well for standing up to them and being truthful and owning up to his "wrong doing." He was more of a man than anyone of those white people that did what they did to not only him and his family. But today 53 years later justice has been served for Emmett and his family. On Tuesday November 4th 2008 we elected an African American President. His death sparked a movement that was very much needed. I will pray for everyone who took part in that lynching. I do not hate you at all, because God does not. And to Emmett Till's family I pray for you all as well. Whoever Emmett was to you he was a brave boy, and his whistle should forever be heard.

It seems to me very clearly that this incedent was all just a little game of provoking with the sensation of anxiety. Wether it be the prosecuters or the jury that may have been looking at the game being played instead of the being in search for the facts and the facts to show us the people truth. Just a wild haitred game that ended the way that maybe Bryant wanted it to. Other than her husbend being a convicted murderer. First of all why did Bryant and her friend agree not to be devoted and discuss this matter with there husbands. They were wrongful and minipulative females from the start. When use see minipulation you should stop take a while and let the truth become reveiled.Just a exspereinced opinion. Sometimes we have to look in the direction of the any witness's or teh defendent. ????????????????????

It’s no mystery who killed Emmitt Till; however, he was not murdered for simply whistling at a white woman. His cousins dared Till, who was visiting Mississippi from Chicago, to ask Carolyn Bryant, a 20-year-old white store keeper for a date. She claimed Till grabbed her by the wrist and said, “Don’t be afraid of me, baby, I’ve been with white women before.” Carolyn Bryant told her sister-in-law, Jaunita Miliam, about the incident. The two women claim they decided not to tell their husbands about the incident. A black customer overheard the exchange and warned Till’s relatives there would be trouble, but he also told Carolyn Bryant’s husband, Roy, about the incident. Roy Bryant and J.W. Miliam, Juanita’s husband, murdered Emmitt Till, but was acquitted by an all-white jury. Knowing they could not be tried a second time, they sold a highly-detailed story of how they murdered Till to Look Magazine. The two men are now dead. Several years ago, the FBI reopened the investigation in hope of proving Carolyn Bryant was an accomplice in the murder, but was unable to come up with supporting evidence
