I'm a Bostonian, who lived in Boston for over 30 years. Boston’s alternative "white" Newspapers and websites are generally bogus when covering the Black Community of Boston. There are a number of Boston Neighborhood Newspapers that are great. South End Community News; Dorchester Community News; and the Jamaica Plain Community News - to name a few. The Bay State Banner is the Newspaper of the Black Community it provides a rich resource of information and events in and around Boston's Black Communities. The Boston Phoenix was also a great paper when I lived their.<br/><br/>Boston is a racist city always has been and like America, will be for some time. There are great people in Boston attempting to address the race issue on all sides. Everything in Boston has changed, yet nothing has changed regarding Boston and racism. Hopefully with a new Governor taking a leadership role he will be able to send out a clear message to Bostonians. If you have racism in your heart and soul find your God and pray for help.
